Savannah heading to her furever home
Sweet Savannah arrived at Shar-Pei Rescue of Virginia from a New Jersey shelter in October. Her coat was a terrible mess, but she received care for her skin and ears…and a nice bath…right away. She made some new friends during her stay in New Jersey!.
She was then off to Virginia Beach. Her buddy from New Jersey took her on the long road trip. Then she was off to her longer term foster home in Chesapeake, VA. Her coat improved greatly while there, and she also had her spay and entropion surgeries.
Today, she is beautiful and healthy and heading off to her “furever” home in Buffalo, NY. She has made so many friends at the Rescue and is loved by many.
Our little traveler boarded a Pilots N Paws flight in Cheseapeake and flew to Atlantic City, NJ. She flew with “Buddy” from another rescue. She was then off by car to Buffalo, NY.
Thank you to Laura for organizing the transport (this was a challenging one), Foster Mommy Bev, Pilots N Paws pilot Liz and her copilot, best friend from NJ – Harry, and her new family for getting this sweet girl to her new home!
