We have some very sad news and a miracle. Over the past week, seven of Apple’s puppies have passed away . There is no definite diagnosis for why the puppies passed, but puppies “fading” in their first few weeks is not uncommon. Apple was in poor condition, so that may have played a role…we and the veterinarian just do not know. Foster Mommy did everything possible to give them the best possible chance at survival.

Our little miracle pup is a female named Delta . She is not out of the woods yet, so caring thoughts and prayers are appreciated . Delta’s eyes are open, and she is working on standing up. The photo is of Delta visiting Momma Apple in Apple’s bed with some of their toys from Santa. Apple is also doing well and looks much better. Apple’s Pei face wrinkles are coming back, and Foster Mommy says she is going to be a very pretty girl
