Meeko‘s Letter to Santa
Dear Santa,
I’ve been a very good boy this year. Last year on Christmas Eve, I was turned into a high kill shelter by my owners.
I thought we were going out for a hamburger and they left me at the shelter. I was so sad, but lucky for me they
made some calls and found a nice lady to take me once she got back in town. When I got to her house, I was so
sick she had to hand feed me. I needed eye surgery, neuter and had really bad skin. Once she got me all better,
she said she loved me so much I could stay with her forever. So Santa, I already got my wish. Instead of bringing me
a present, please give mine to my foster friends, Bucky, Loki, Curtis, Annabelle, Tango and all the other Pei still
waiting for their furever home. And Santa, please tell all our friends they can make a donation on the Shar-Pei Rescue
of VA-NJ “Tree of Hope” in honor or memory of a friend (2 and 4 legged) or family member at www.sharpeirescueofva.org to
help make the “howliday” a little brighter for my Pei-mates still waiting in rescue.
Thanks Santa!
Pei hugs and kisses,
Meeko
PS Can you bring my mom some more socks, I keep eating hers and depositing them outside and they get holes in them when
the lawn mower runs over them
PSS I wouldn’t mind if you put that hamburger in my stocking
