Hi, I’m Apple!

Hi, I’m Apple! I arrived from a Virginia shelter on 12/1  pregnant and due any day. Thankfully, I made it to my foster home in Kentucky before giving birth.  I gave birth to eight puppies – five female and three male – on 12/11.  Sadly, seven of my puppies passed away.   I raised my precious baby girl, Delta, with Foster Mommy’s help.  Delta went to her new family on 3/16, so I’m an empty nester now!

My Foster Mommy says that I am a super sweet, easy going girl.  I was in horrible condition when I arrived, so I need to gain weight and need some TLC. I have chronic Lyme disease and Ehrlichia to overcome and will need to be spayed.  Now that Delta is weaned, I have started taking Doxycycline for the Lyme and Ehrlichia. Foster Mommy says that I am already getting some of my Shar-Pei wrinkles back as I am gaining weight since the birth of my puppies. My undercarriage is tightening up; and my hips, elbows and back legs are looking much better❤️😁

I am very hap-pei that my Foster Mommy is going to adopt me!
